Dangerous Corner was a beautifully elegant show to have as a Production Electrician. This production took place in an arena theatre with a tension wire grid. I thoroughly enjoyed methodically working through creating my own pipe layout and figuring out how my crew could move around. The condensed nature of the plot made it difficult to find places we could stand and focus from as well as making sure we had enough power in the space for all of our lights. The four sconces on the wall presented an unusual problem because of the glass bars. I had to research many different types of lightbulbs to find ones that would fill out the tall space and we added R114 gel to help diffuse the light and create a glow instead of bars of light. Additionally we decided to use an MA3 to program the show. Prior to this I had only used EOS consoles so I had a crash course in networking and basic programming with MA.
